  1. I'm following the cookbook (https://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/jasperreports-server-authentication-cookbook/configuring-jasperreports-server-ldap) closely but I'm having issues locating the <js-install>/samples/externalAuth-sample-config/ directory so that I can edit the sample-applicationContext-externalAuth-LDAP.xml

I found the applicationContext-security.xml file at this location: /var/lib/tomcat8/webapps/jasperserver-pro/WEB-INF

However, there is a comment in that file above the ldapContextSource bean that says

<!-- ########### For LDAP authentication in JasperReport Server 4.7. In JRS > 5.1, all configuration is included in a single file (see sample's) ##############

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  2. I can't seem to find any of the directories referenced in the user guide. After connecting to my instance via ssh I am not presented with any of the directory files. I remoted in using ec2-user and the ipv4 address. Am I missing something? Where is the jrio service installed, the templates, the underlying data etc...

  3. confirmed that there is an issue with the template. the bucket being created is empty, no report templates/sample data or anything else in it. Might be someting to do with the AMI referenced in the template... can't really use this product now. I know that there is no support for this product but it would be fantastic just to get a response acknowledging that an issue does exist.

    Thanks

  4. Followed the instructions to deploy the JasperReports IO product on AWS via the template after the successful completion I am unable to access the instance on port 8080. I did successfully SSH into the instance and also pinged 8.8.8.8. My security groups are all configured correctly allowing 0.0.0.0/0 (SSH, TCP, HTTP/S). My theory is that the jenkins portion of the code in the AMI is failing and it's not deploying the webservice. Can someone please help look into the template for me asap - I'm looking at utilizing JRIO for a big project.

    Thanks!
