I have a descrption field from a table that contains the word/value Offset. After Offset is a 2 char value that I need to extract for priting on my iReport.
Here is my feild data: WD2.FD906: Offset SQ. 1 X 3-1/16 L:0 B:1-7/8 & SQ. 1-9/16 X 4-5/16 L:3/8 B:0 - Flex
The value I need to extract is the SQ. This value is not in the same position, it could be in a position less or more than it shows here, BUT it is always after the value Offset.

Is there a way in Jasper iReports that I can have a decimal value display as a fraction? Thus show 9.750 as 9 3/4? Is there a conversion?
Is there a custom format I can use? Is there a way I can get the decimal value and pass it to an excel .csv to get the fraction value?
Do you have examples of this?
Thank you.

I have a Bill of Lading that I have created and I need the same page(s) of data to print 3 more copies with different heading or tital.
The first page says Original Bill of Lading, the Second copy is to say Shipping Order, Third page Memorandum and last Forth page Packing List.
How do I do this. Please I need to know how to do this in the designer (detailed steps) and NOT showing me the XML.
thank you in advance.

I need to know how I can take a numeric value and convert it to a fraction like excel does. In jasper reports is there a way that I can do a lookup to an excel sheet using the decimal value and then get the converted fraction value? I have an excel sheet with the fractions value I need, I would need to setup a data source link to this excel sheet to sure in a subreport. Can anyone help me with this?
I have values like 10.250, 6.125, 9.750, 8.375 I need to convert these to 10 1/4, 6 1/8, 9 3/4 and 8 3/8 also any others that might be needed.
Thank you.
