[hide a subreport]

I need to hide a tab(subreport) from  the parent report when i don't have data in it .

 

I have already tried :

 

    $P{chaine}.toString().equals("1")

 

But i get a blank tab , but i want to hide this tab if there is no data .

 

Some one know how to do this ?

hello ,

 I need to know to remove the empty generated columns from the report ? i use Ireport 5.0.0 , one report and many subreport in the same file with tabs .

Please find atached the screen shot.
