[DomEL equivalent for SQL CONVERT/CAST function]

Is there any way to add a calculated field in the domain designer that converts a date&time to date only?

Something like SQL CONVERT(DATE,fieldname)

The report worked after I added the input controls on the server. The question is why the parameters did not get deployed at the same time, when I published the report. I see this behavior for the first time.

I developed a report in JasperSoft Studio 6.0.1 and published it to the server  6.0.1. The report's parameters didn't get published. While publishing, I've noticed in Studio that Resources list is empty.

How can I make JS Studio pick and publish my parameters ? There are some internal parameters that need to be deployed.
