[XML Remote - HTTP 401 error]

Can someone tell me how to edit the jrxml that the username and password is set per default?

How can I pass the user and password to XML_USER and XML_PASSWORD in the right way?

This does not work. Still getting the 401 error:

http://192.168.5.69:1234/employees/1003.xml?XML_USERNAME=user&XML_PASSWORD=pw

I have the following problem:

I created a data adapter (XML Remote) in Jaspersoft Studio. The URL looks like:

http://user:pw@ip:port/employees.xml

A browser shows me the correct XML file.

In Jaspersoft Studio i get an 401 http error.

I started a network sniffer.

The browser request has a login credential, the Jaspersoft Studio request not.

How can I get XML from a remote server, when a authentication is needed?
