[Pass SQL result to javascript in HTMLcomponent]

How do I pass result from SQL query from iReport to HTML component?

I need to access data and build charts with D3.js

[Normal (x,y) chart in iReport]

I might have multiple "y" values for same "x" value. If I change series, then each value will have different shape. I need same shape for each coordinate plotted on graph.

I have following values:

Category | Value

'A' | 2

'A' | 3

'B' | 5

'B' | 6

Same category has multiple values. I need to show these in X-Y graph, when x = 'A', there should be two points (A,2) and (A,3). How to plot this in iReport?

[Parameter in ad-hoc report]

Can I add parameter in ad-hoc report created from JasperServer? I am not talking about iReport.
