If i install Oracle SQL developer separately and create databases in it, can i use the same DB in ireport?

Hi,

 

I want to populate datas in my database or add table in my database. How do i do that. Then i select sql query editor beside "preview" tab, i get to see that it accepts only commants like "SELECT" "ORDER BY" etc.

Hi,

 

I downloaded 30day trail version of Jaspersoft Enterprise edition (v 5.2). When i login as superuser, none of links present in header seem to work. I need to create dashboard but when i follow create->dashboard, it doesnt work. Am I missing something out here? Even when i click on any user, its properties doesnt show up.

 

Any help would be acknowledged since i have to submit a project by sunday.
