It's  easy if you use new barcode technology. In SE73, selet system barcode, click on change, click on create button, select New button, select rotated in the barcode alignment popup screen.

Use the newly created barcode in the smartform.

Other way of showing barcodes is with usage of bar codes fonts, once if you install bar code font in your location (c:WINDOWSFonts) and re-open the report project file you'll be able to find the barcode font in the font properties of a textbox under a table control.

After installing font, choose the property of the texbox where barcode value is placed under the tablix control...as shown in below image.
