[Multiple select values for parameter in Ireport 4.0.1]

Hi...

 I am presenty working on Ireport 4.0.1 version. Here am trying to create a parameter which should take input multiple values. After searching on google i got this solution.

Main Query :  
SELECT * from customer where $X{IN,customer_id,param_customerID}

Parameter : 
Name : param_customerID
Class : java.lang.Integer

Parameter Query in the repository : 
Type : Multi Select Query
Query :
SELECT DISTINCT 
        customer_id FROM customer 
ORDER BY customer_id

 

    Here my question is where can I set Multe Select Query in Ireport 4.0.1. Please anyone help me. Its urjent.

[How to hide a column in table when their in data in ireport]

Hi.

I am presently working on Ireport 4.0.1 version. My requirment is, a column named Area in my dataset. I have to hide when there is no data for the column Area. If there is data then repective column should be displayed in report else should not displayed in  the output of my report. How can i solve this issue.

Hi Ankur Gupta.

 Actually am unable to open ireport directly and even cannot open any jrxml reports on my machine.

I am unable to open any report of jasper reports. Even when am trying  to open ireport, am not getting any error after clicking many times on ireport also.........

Could you please tell me what may be the problem.

  I installed Ireport 4.0.1 version . It installed successfully but unable to open the report. It showing application error. Even i tried on installing another version also same problem.

 Thanks for sparing your valuable time in replying me.

I veiwed the answer. Here i will use project as a parameter. By selecting the project, the data should be filtered.

Now my doubt is how can i link subreport and main report. I tried but am getting wrong data.

Previously i didnot worked on subreports. So, please help how could i link it.

Am working Ireport 4.0.5, I imported background image into report but in preview it not displaying the image only it displaying data

it is working fine when the value is zero but for other numbers its not defecting

Can you say whether the expression is correct or not

Am working on Ireport 3.7.5. I want to create a column in table "SerialNo" which should be incremented by for eac row i.e, 1,2,3,4........., but it showing an error "missing increment group for serial no"

[multiplication of fields in ireports]

Am trying to multiply the field in ireport 3.7.5. I gave the feild eepression as

"new Double(($F{totallines}.multiply(new java.math.BigDecimal("0.12"))).toString())+new Double(($F{totallines}.multiply(new java.math.BigDecimal("0.024"))).toString())+new Double(($F{totallines}.multiply(new java.math.BigDecimal("0.012"))).toString()+$F{totallines})"

But it genenrating errors .......  "the operator + is undefined for the argument types double,bigdecimal and

"the method multiply(bigdecimal) is undefined for double"

these the issues am facing, can you provide me a solution, please its urjent

Am working on Ireports 3.7.5 . My problem is I want to multiply a field with constant value but it showing error "cannot cast int to double"

For Example: $F{feild1}*2/100
