Hi together,
is there any chance to allow a TextField to be larger than the size of a page, or to strech the field without page break?
The target: i have a powerpoint export, which will be pre-edited by the user. On the buttom of the page there is a text field which holds text which can be very large. On my "hand-made" export the field growth over the page limit and the user can edit the whole text to fit to page (which is generally allowed in ppt).
In jasper i can't get it working. 1. without strech setting: text is cut off when it does not fit to the field 2. with strech: a new page is added when the text is to long 3. design a "oversize" field is not allowed by jasper generation and cause an excpetion that the field does not fit the band,.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot

Hi There,
i have a strange problem here, using:
iReport Designer 4.7.0, Using Java with version 4.7.0. I try to use a ressource bundle to internationalize my application. I add the ressource bundle name in the report ("my_texts"). This file is in the classpath, the designer doesn't through any exceptions. In the report i use "$R{KEY}", but the Tag isn't translated, NOT in the Designer and NOT in the pure Java (Web-) Application. I Debug the Java Application, and he gets the correct Bundle, but there are no calls against this Bundle to retrieve any value?
Report looks like:
<jasperReport .......... resourceBundle="my_texts" .....>
<text><![CDATA][$R{KEY}]]</text>
Ressource like default (KEY=SomeValue)
Have i to activate RessourceBundles somewhere?
Hope for any help!
