Hi,
If you are using one of the latest jasperserver versions you can try to use the REST2 services. If you change the url in something like
http://localhost:8081/jasperserver/rest_v2/reports/<path-to-record>.html?j_username=<user>&j_password=<password>&<other-params>
Your result should be a plain html file.
