I am using jasperreports / ireport 4.7.
My report has a one-record-dummy-datasource and subreports in the detail section of the main report.
Each subreport output is on a new sheet. The columns in the subreports (jrxml) have the same width. That works fine.
But how is it possible to have different column width on different subreports/sheets without getting merged columns?
Is it possible at all?
Thanks.

Hello,
till now we used jasperreports 3.0.1 and iReport 3.0.0 in many java projects.
But now is the time to migrate to 4.7 (jasperreports and iReport), especially we want to use embedded fonts for pdf export.
We don't use jasperserver, all the reports are effected in java programs.
So now the question:
How to migrate the jrxml files to the new version?
Is it necessary?
Can it be done by an ant job?
Is it done by iReport-Designer automatically when opening an old jrxml file?
Please help,
Norbert
JRxlsxExporter very slow for huge data

Hello,
I have got the problem when exporting huge data with net.sf.jasperreports.engine.export.ooxml.JRXlsxExporter.JRXlsxExporter(), runtime will grow exponentially in comparison to the amount of data.
Query is fast, Export to PDF o PREVIEW is fast. Using JRSwapFile is no solution.
We are using JR 4.7.0, but I have already tried with JR 6.0.0. It's not better.
This problem is reported quite often in jasperreports community for some years, but I found no satisfying answer.
Will there be a solution in the near future?
What does TIPCO say to this problem, is it a job for you?
Thank you
Norbert
