[Error with Excel export]

Hi,

 

i keep getting a

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.apache.poi.hssf.usermodel.HSSFSheet.setRightToLeft(Z)V

error when i try exporting my report to excel... i think it might have something to do with the POI version i'm using  but i cant be sure.

i'm currently using

iReports 3.7.5

jasperreports-3.7.5.jar

POI-3.5-Final.jar

does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to display each groups detail in a different excel sheet.

So basically everytime the group expression changes the details for the new expression should appear in a different excel worksheet.

couldnt find a direct solution... but upgraded to both iReports and JasperReports and the problem was sorted.... had to recompile all my old reports with the newer version of iReports which took a while but at least no more SAX parse exception

I'm relatively new to java development and jasper reports, so please excuse my naivety.
I've been getting a sax parse exception that I think (hoping at least) will be solved with the following patch:

JRStyledTextParser-trunk.patch

but i'm not entirely sure how to apply this patch.
