I have downloaded the JasperServer-src-3.5. Can Anyone Tell me Which IDE should I use and how to configure to work on source code?

can anyone help me for this? I don't want to allow JasperServer to Access the data directly for jasper report instead I have two options: I can provide data through WebServices for jasper report from existing application or I can provide JAR to allow access the data for jasper report. Is it Possible by modifying jasper server code?

I am using Jasper server community Edition which I want to embed with my existing application but I don't want to allow JasperServer to Access the exsting application database directly Instead I have two option I can provide data through WebServices from my application db or I can provide JAR to allow access the Jasperserver. Thanks, this will be helpful but I can't use current versino. for that I have to use current mysql/posgres sql script and migrate it to oracle.

Code:Thanks tony, Yes I found jasperserver-ireport-plugin in jasperserver directory. But I am concerning on is it free to use? or do I need to buy license for this? I want to use this plugin in my existing web application to call to jasper server web services to access repository.
