Hi all, i have upgraded from Jasper Server 3.7.0 to 4.0.0 every report is working well but one no longer. In this report i uses a UNION Select for needed calculation data. For your information i use a PostgreSQL Database. That error i got from jasper Server and the SQL see below. Can someone tell me what i can do to get this work or workarround. OK i found it, it was the name of the Report Folder when i uploaded it via iReport I used ü and a - and now without them it works. Post Edited by jadawin at 07/20/2011 16:42

Hi all, i now bought the iReprot 3.7 Book from Shamsuddin Ahammad published by PACKT. I followed the instructions how to create a subreport and a variable in ther. But if i klick add on the return value from this subreport properties i don't see the Variable in the Drop Down menu. What is to do to get this work. thanks jada

Hi all, i'm new to Jasper and in the last weeks i learnd a lot of SQL, Reports, XML and other things. I have created a few reports and now it will become more complex and now i'm standing in front of a mountein like a cow because i read a lot about how to get variables of a supreport in the main report and i understand nothing. Can someone help me with a step by step guide how to do something like that in ireport? Thanks a lot jada
