Hi I came across the same problem today while trying to run a report in the background. It looks like the server is trying to save the report as a blob, so the report size must be less than this MySQL limit ? Is that the case ? are there any other suggested limits on maximum sizes for reports in Jasper ? regards Jon

as a follow up, ive now tested under firefox 3.5. Much faster performance. Unfortunately IE6 is still our corporate standard.

Hi i spent some time using the domain designer in IE6, and the browser memory hit 750 Mb ! it looks like it gradually creeps up while using the designer - javascript memory leak ? Jon
