  1.

That is an interesting question you are asking. From what I have seen, ETL tools are translated in many languages.

Talend has an interesting project on Talend Open Studio as it has its community at work. Through Babili, the name of the project, users can translate their ETL tool.

As I speak, Chinese is on its way to be translated at 100%. Talend Open Studio is also being translated in other languages.

You can look at the project here: http://www.talendforge.org/babili/ . The website is: http://www.talend.com/ .

So basically what you want to do is sync up two databases several times a day. You could use Talend Open Studio: it can efficiently do what you are asking, so stay with this tool.

You might want to go check Talend 's page on data synchronization: http://www.talend.com/solutions-data-integration/data-synchronization.php

Just the fact you already know the software and use it, you'll save a lot of time (and money) on this. it is much easier for you than taking a new one.

  3. Having used a few open source and proprietary solutions, my advice would be to go for open source.

About the best company on the market, of course all of those you talk about are good. IMHO, I have a few favorites in the open source world.

I enjoy Talend Open Studio because the program has a well designed interface with technically advanced features, a good debugging team and a large community.

You can look at all of the features here: http://www.talend.com/products-data-integration/talend-open-studio.php Hope this helps!

  4. Hi, Some companies have budget problems and are having to reduce their cost of operation. Have you ever heard of open source tools? They can do the job easily and less expensive than proprietary solutions that cost a lot of money.

You can have a look at a good ETL open source program called Talend Open Studio: it is user-friendly but also has advanced features intended for technical users (java debugger, code injection…). It can perform data migration and ETL as you wrote in your first post.

The website is http://www.talend.com/solutions-data-integration/data-migration.php to download the open source program. They have a forum and documentation you can read. Tell us what you think about the software.

  5. Hi,

Jasper ETL is a tool that can load the entire database. Jasper ETL - Talend Open Studio - can perform this operation.

    ______

Talend Open Studio is an open source ETL tool for data integration and migration experts. It's easy to learn for a non-technical user. What distinguishes Talend, when it comes to business users, is the tMap component. It allows the user to get a graphical and functional view of integration processes.
