U can do this with the help of Database functions...like upper,lower,initcap etc.

You can use to_char function(Oracle) for date conversion to any of yours specified formats.

Yo u can do this by creating the new style document for your report....in that report style u can specify the required condition.

YO ucan create group header and footer from the tool bar given in ireport window.there u saw a button report group...and while creating sum varible....choose calculation type as sum.and ur group...and assign it the value of varible for which u r calculating sum.

[style - alternate color of detail row]

HI Natacha. for this you can create a new style and in that style condition you can mention your condition and respective colors...this will solve your your problem.

U can do it by making all the position type of below elements float from the properties of that elements.

I am also facing this problem...we have to check every time on both window and linux system...but at the end we adjust it according to end machine operating system.

Just check your tool box ..in this one reports group button is there..when u click it..a new form will open and there u can create report group...after creating this report group,automatically two new band are aadded to ur report area...naming group header and group footer....then u can place ur total in group footer....

I am facing problem while returning a sum variable from subreport into main report ...it work some times but sometimess it give null value....

I want to know how to display same data againa and again based upon incremental serial number.means every time only serial number should change.rest data is same.                  Serial number will increment upto value of one of the field.

Hi I think u need to create the paramenter on reportserver also.this will work for u.

[iReport Page Size]

This might happen due to the ignore pagination option in report properties.......u have to uncheck this option.then output of report will come on number of pages according to data present in ur report.

U can try it out by changing the background of image accordingly or to maintain the proper size as required by ur text.

In my report there is some gap between the content of the group footer and the content of last page footer .what I have to do to make the content of last page footer floating accoerding to group footer content?/

For this you have to go to report properties and uncheck the ignore pagination check box.this will create a new page after swaping through height of your page.
