  6. Maintenance Schedule and Plan:

    Maintenance Time : 20th Sat 2009
    Downtime Window: 13hrs IST - 14.30hrs IST

Maintenance Action: Kernel and OS package patch/upgrade with security fixes in.

    Sites Affected: jasperforge.org

    Description:
Our Operations are planning for upgrading patches and OS related packages with security and performance fixes, this requires a reboot to take effect. We would need to reboot all the production sites after package installation. There will be no changes or modifications done to the ESP product or packages associated with it. In this time the production boxes would be rebooted a couple of times.  Our estimate is the downtime would be less than 30 mins.

    Thanks,

I found something in the Mantis configuration related to this.

If you go to Project/Tracker/Manage/Manage Configuration and change "Status where an issue becomes read only" to closed, posting notes on resolved bugs will be allowed.  Not sure what other implication this setting has though.

    Lucian,

You are correct on the understanding of this issue. I am going ahead and changing the configuration to reflect the same in the jasperforge project. BTW that is a good catch !

    Thanks,
