I found the problem in my case. In my run.sh file in jboss/bin we set one of java.awt API parameters. When I removed this parameter and re-run the run.sh file the barcode turned out ok :-) The barcode creator is using Java.awt as well so that is why I got a bad barcode image. Try and look for awt packages configuration in your files. Good luck Jo

I have the same problem. Running jboss under windows result with good barcode, running jboss under linux result with black bars as you mensioned. I join you with the cry for help.... Jo

Hi guys, I need your help. Been working a lot with IReport 0.5.1 and jasperreport under windows and its great. My problem is trying to print a barcode type EAN128 under Linux. What I get is barcode bars and under them black horizontal wide bars. Under windows all goes well. Can you help me here??? :blush: Thanks Jo
