I have a database table with a text field which contains XML Data. How can I use jrxmldatasource in a subreport to set up with the mainreport's field's xml-string?

Is it possible to set up a datasource to receive xml-data from a PHP-script? I found only connectors to xml-files in a subdataset-definition. But I want to use a simple URL to a http-server which gives the xml data back. Can anybody show me the way to do that?
