I am trying to run a report in Excel format and won't show the chart. When run in PDF format it works fine. The space where the chart is supposed to be appears correctly but the chart is missing when run through IE and Firefox. When I run it from within iReport everything works great. Any suggestions???

You could also setup a group band. You can then setup your Print When expression to be
new Boolean(if($F{BEGCYC6} != null) $F{BEGCYC6}). That would prevent you from writing the same check for each field as well.

Use the same syntax you are using but use a Field, not a text field.

This is what I currently have, I have left out the rest because it is too long. I am wondering if there is any way that I can do an inline string replacement. I would like to be able to replace the number "1" in "survey.question1_abbreviation" with a parameter value.
Is this possible??
SELECT
comp.company_name
, 1 question_number
, count(distinct cl.log_id) AS survey_count
, survey.question1_abbreviation AS question
, survey.question_1 AS questionAbbr
, sum(IF(answer.answer_1 IN ('Yes','Very
I would like: survey.question$P{number}_abbreviation
