i think this feature is only available on higher version I'm using 1.2.5 and i cannot see that function also try switching to higher version, i don't know if in what version this is introduced.

Is your detail record can really fit in just one page together with your pagefooter?

If not change pagefooter to lastpagefooter.

why not create 1 stored procedure that contains all your queries

I think you forgot to define Connection/Datasource Expression...i've also experienced that before i only define my connection expression ..i use from the drop down menu "Use connection expression"

Whenever i'm using subreports i always remove magins and set the band height to 0 for unused band.

I have this problem:

If my query statement returns an empty string my report is also empty even the title was not there.

 

Is this really the behavior of ireport or something is wrong with my java files?

 

I have 6 java classes that calls the report, i have the main class, business layer class, DAO, DTO, Datasource and DataBase manager.

I've already tried exporting my report to PDF..but i want it in excel. I already have all the necessary jars but still i cant export it to excel, a blank excel file is produce..using still the same data as the one exported to pdf.

 

Help please...can anyone give me a sample code on exporting to excel?
