Hi all,

I have 1 main report and 6 sub reports.

My subreports have different charts.

Now i want to put all the sub reports in my main reports and finally want to generate a pdf.

But problem is that in my main reports these sub reports are overllaping.

I have addjusted height n width of these sub reports as min as possible.

can i use i frame for that but i don't know what's use of frame tool.

I am using ireport1.2.0

In report properties

page width = 20.990 cm

hieght=29.889 cm

But when u right click and go to band properties then

it shows

detail band hieght 769

title band hieght = 36

Can u tell me what is the unit of band hieght and how it's co-related with report's hieght.

I want to draw a bar graph for actual effort and plan efforts against date.

Mean date'll be on x-axis while value on y axis.

So there should be exactly to bars for a perticular date.

So now my problem is that i want graph's bars should be in unique color.You can say all the bars for actual value for different dates should be in same color.

Please give me your valiuable suggestion.

[problem with charts]

Hi,
I want to draw a bar graph as per attached document.
Please go through attached document.
problem is that i want date on Y-axis but ireport throws an exception that it can not convert date to a number.

second problem is that how can i show these bars in only two colors as per my attached document.



third problem is that I want also display legends with some text(discription) as shown in attached documnet.

Please do some favour for me it's urgent.

new Long(($V{variable1}.longValue)/($V{variable2}.longValue))

 

i think this way ur problem will be resolved. Use actual dataType that ur using instead of Long.

I think now u can understand what are i am doing.

B'coz u can not use division on two objects of Wraper Type.

Hi,

I am retrieving values from DB if a particular field is equal to 1 then I want to display Red color against static text of that field.

 

I am trying to show the state of that field is critical,ok etc by displaying colors.

can any body help me?I have below problems

1.how can i make a specific location to dispaly sub reports on my main report. Mean sub report must be displayed in that specified location and it cannot exceed from that space.My sub report containts line graph and bar graphs.

2.My report directly retriving data from DB but if that perticular field is null in DB then null text is displaying,I want to display it as a empty field.

Please give me some favour it's urgent.

Hi all,

I am new to ireport and jasper.

I am using Ireport 1.2.0 for jasper report.

.........

I have dividede my whole repots in main report and its 5 sub reports.

I put these sub reports in my main reports, my sub reports contain different graphs.

My final report has been created successfully but content(graphs) of my sub reports are not displayed properly. Mean I am facing alignment problem. some time my graph is dis played with only half part.

I have tried by putting all the graphs in frame tool but problem is not resolved please do some favour for me.
