  • Jaspersoft Studio Data Governance

    Overview

    Jaspersoft Studio is a powerful desktop report designer for developing data visualizations and full-fledged reports. Featuring the industry’s most advanced design environment, it enables you to create highly formatted, pixel-perfect reports and data visualizations.

    1. Categories of Data Processed

    Jaspersoft Studio collects usage statistics on how the user interacts with the application. The data collection process involves:

    End User Data:

    • Installation UUID:  Each Jaspersoft Studio installation is identified by a unique ID.
    • User Email: After providing the Community account credentials, the user email is associated with the installation UUID.

    Logs Data:

    • Information on actions taken during the usage of the software including  IP address, OS version, Java version, events such as creation of a new report, export format, language used for report expressions.

    (Customer Content – the content you contribute to reports – is not retained by Jaspersoft.)

    2. Data Center Location

    Data collected is stored in a relational database hosted in the AWS Cloud EMEA (Germany) region.

    3. Information Security

    Data transmission is performed by using HTTP protocol with SSL Encryption (TLS 1.2 protocol).

    4. Data Retention and Destruction

    Jaspersoft has documented retention policies that permit the retention of your Community Account data and logs as needed to assist with troubleshooting system issues and to protect and secure our networks. After this time period has expired, logs will then be permanently deleted. Your Community Account data will be retained so long as you are an active account user or until you request your account deleted.  You can request your account deleted by following instructions in our Privacy Policy.

    5. Third-Party Services

    The collected data is stored in Amazon Web Service (AWS) data centers.
