Welcome to the New Jaspersoft Community Site!

Welcome to the new Jaspersoft Community site!

We are very excited to launch the next version of our community site to help meet the growing needs of our Community.

With the move from JasperForge.org to our new community.jaspersoft.com site, we hope you will experience the benefit of bringing our Customers, Partners, Community Edition users, and Employees together in a more collaborative and information-centric way.  Thanks to the wealth of feedback from our Community, we believe this will be the best resource for achieving your business intelligence goals with Jaspersoft.

A Quick Look at the Changes

Information is only a click away
Answers (previously forums), documentation, wiki articles, and tracker items are a single click away.  We have taken down the walls between the product documentation, tutorials, how-to’s, Q&A, etc. in recognition that as our products build upon one another, so does the information surrounding them.  Access the information from the product pages, dive in from the main navigation, or simply search and filter.

Extending Jaspersoft has never been so easy
With our new Exchange, many of our projects have been organized to help you gain more value out of your use of Jaspersoft.  In addition, the ability to share your own extensions and add-ons has become easier and the benefits have been expanded.  Build it in places like github, Google code, etc. and share it through the Jaspersoft Exchange.

Community-Driven
More than ever, the content within our community site will be driven by our Community.  Mark the best answer to your questions. Vote for good questions and answers.  Vote for articles you find useful. Write wiki documentation that you wish existed when you were getting started and that you reference for your projects.  Rate and comment on extensions. Report issues or request enhancements.  Tag everything to make it easier to find.

Jaspersoft-Focused
This site will serve as the single place to do everything Jaspersoft.  Whether you are a developer using our community edition tools or a Product Manager guiding the integration of reports, dashboards, and analytics into your products using our commercial products, the goal of this site will be to provide you with the information and resources you need to be successful.  The goal is to make this a resource for all of our community members regardless of the product or edition you are using or the use case to which you are applying it.

This is only the start of our journey.  Stay tuned as we continue to add more functionality (and clean up a bit of our mess :-)), create more opportunities for you to get involved, and open up new channels of collaboration, contribution, and opportunity.

Come to Learn.  Stay to Collaborate.  Return to Contribute.  Experience the Benefits.

Thanks!
