Issue with Aggregate of a Calculated Field in 7.9 and 8.0.0

Issue Description

 After upgrading to release 7.9 or 8.0, reports containing a calculated field that also has an aggregation function may cause an error. If you use a Domain or an Ad Hoc view that applies an aggregation function to a calculated field, the report may fail on 7.9, 8.0.0, and 8.0.1 with the following error in the log file:

    org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: aggregate function calls cannot be nested

Hotfix

This issue can be fixed by applying one of the following from the Tibco support website:

For version 7.9: hotfix_JRSPro7.9.1_cumulative_20220315_0949.zip

For version 8.0.0 or 8.0.1: hotfix_JRSPro8.0.1_cumulative_20220325_1020.zip

However, Tibco recommends installing the 8.0.2 service pack for 8.0.0 and 8.0.1 that includes this fix and other security updates. The 8.0.2 service pack is also available from the Tibco support website.

Configuration

After installing the hotfix or service pack, edit the file applicationContext-el.xml and set the 'inMemory' property 'true'. Restart the server.
