Marat, it could be that their SSL cert is not valid or is self certified. Browsers allow you to make an exception, but I don't think this is possible with iReport.
Looking further, it looks like there is a way to add the cert to the Java key store to get around it.

Looking forward to seeing this written up on the wiki :)
JasperReports Server Pro v3.0.0.
We've tried a couple of iReport versions including 3.0.0 and 3.5.2
Since this is a client, can we assume it's JasperReports Server Pro? iReport Designer v3.5.2 is not supported by JasperReports Server Pro. This may be the same issue that Tom brought up in the thread "RE: Issues user has with iReport Designer v3.5.2 and JasperReports Server Pro v3.5.1"
The client is trying to use the plugin with a JasperReports Server instance running on an SSL server and getting an error.
I suggested placing the following JVM property in the iReport Designer startup script, but it doesn't seem to help
-Daxis.socketSecureFactory=org.apache.axis.components.net.SunFakeTrustSocketFactory
Any ideas?
