  • Infinite loop when scheduling report on Websphiere

    Issue:

    If you are experiencing a hang when scheduling any report on WebSphere while everything else works fine in the Jasperserver repository, try the suggestions below.


    Resolution:

    Check and make sure that these instructions were followed correctly.

    Section 7.3.1 Additional Fix for Scheduled Report with JNDI Data Source from the installation guide:

    Rename: WEB-INF/webSphere-applicationContext-report-scheduling-wm.xml
              To: WEB-INF/applicationContext-report-scheduling-wm.xml

    Rename: WEB-INF/webSphere-js.quartz.base.properties
              To: WEB-INF/js.quartz.base.properties (overwrite existing file)

    Rename: WEB-INF/webSphere-js.scheduling.properties
              To: WEB-INF/js.scheduling.properties (overwrite existing file)

    Also,

    Check and see if you are using WebSphere 6.1.2.5 on JS 4.2. If you are, it requires Version 6.1.0.35 or higher.
