Getting "NoSuchMethodError" When Sending TIBCO JasperReports® Server 7.5.0 Job Output to Microsoft Exchange Mail Server

Our user used identical mail server configuration in TIBCO JasperReports^® Server 6.4 and 7.5 to send report job output to a Microsoft Exchange mail server. While it was working in 6.4, the mail failed in 7.5 with NoSuchMethodError.

Debugging revealed the conflict is caused by newly deployed jakarta.mail-api-1.6.3.jar in JasperReports^® Server 7.5. Removing one of the following conflicting mail jar files from JasperReports^® Server 7.5.0 deployment will fix this error.

• ..WEB-INFlibmail-1.4.5.jar
