Description:If you are having memory issues in iReport and want to allocate more memory to the JVM then follow these instructions You will need to edit the file ireportpro.conf and edit the line that reads: | [toc] |
default_options="-J-Xms24m -J-Xmx512m -J-Dorg.netbeans.ProxyClassLoader.level=1000 -J-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"
Here you can increase the value of Xmx, MaxPermSize and any other JVM parameters. The file location differs per OS:
Windows
C:Program Files (x86)JaspersoftiReport-Professional-4.5.0etcireportpro.conf
Mac
/Applications/Jaspersoft iReport Designer Professional.app/Contents/Resources/ireportpro/etc/ireportpro.conf
