Cannot upload any resources to the server with "The file was not uploaded. Please try again" message

Scenario:

When trying to upload the resources such as report JRXML's or images you constantly get " The file was not uploaded. Please try again." message on the UI but there are no errors logged in the browser console or server log files. What could be the issue here?

Solution:

One of the issues here may be extra WAR files deployed in the same Tomcat or other application server that conflicts with TIBCO JasperReports^® Server. One of the more popular examples of this is having JavaMelody deployed in the same Tomcat which causes conflict with JasperReports Server. Try to undeploy the additional WAR's and deploy just JasperServer.
