How to publish a Jaspersoft® Studio translation

Overview

In the tutorial How to translate Jaspersoft® Studio we have seen how we can create a new translation, in this tutorial will be explained how that translation can be published on the community site to be visible by the Jaspersoft Studio team and the other users.

Submit procedure

To publish a translation project right click on the project and select the option Send Translation

Since  your translation will be posted in the community site tracker you must provide a title and a description for the open post, and then hit Next

At this point you need only to provide your login information and hit Finish, all your translation files will be packed inside a zip file and attached to the open post. 

Community Contributed Translations

In this section we list all the translations contributed by the community. These traslations are not approved or reviewed by TIBCO, they should be seen as something done by the users for the users. 

• Japanese Translation
• French Translation

To install one of these translations, download the zip of the translation and save it somewhere on the disk. From Jaspersoft Studio import the translation project doing File -> Import -> Existing Project Into Workspace. At this point select the archive file an complete the process.
