How to use Snow flake?

This document provides the steps to use Snowflake with JasperReports Server 9.0.0.
To use Snowflake with JasperReports Server 9.0.0:
1. On the New Data Source page, from the Type drop-down, select JDBC.
2. From the JDBC Driver drop-down, select Snowflake(net.snowflake.client.jdbc.SnowflakeDriver).

3. In the HOST field, enter the host details from the dedicated Login URL received from Snowflake. The format of the HOST is xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx.snowflakecomputing.com.
4. Provide relevant information in the Role , Virtual Warehouse and Database fields.
5. The URL field is auto populated.
6. Provide relevant information in the User Name and Password fields.
7. Click Test Connection to test the connectivity.
8. Click Save to save the data source.

Prerequisites

Before you create a Snowflake data source, you must:
1. Create a Snowflake account from snowflakecomputing.com for the preferred ROLE.
2. Activate your account from the dedicated login URL received from Snowflake.
3. Generate the Username and Password.
