Issue Description
Try the following solution below if you are experiencing this behavior on TIBCO JasperReports® Server changing favicon.
When uploading the favicon icon file, you had to change the filename to something other than .ico. If you try to upload an .ico file through JasperReports Server, it won't let you and says it is an invalid file type for image. If you rename it, it will allow you to upload it. However, the path is then set with the wrong file type. Changing the filename does not help.
Resolution
Upload the .ico file through TIBCO Jaspersoft® Studio.
