Solution:
It looks like there are some duplicate UUIDs of report elements which provoke JIVE issue.
UUIDs are usually duplicated when report fragments are copied and pasted using a text editor.
It can be avoided by copying and pasting elements in Jaspersoft® Studio's design view, or by removing UUIDs when copying in a text editor.
So, removing/regenerating the repeating (or all) UUIDs fixes the width of selected column.
