How to draw a border around the symbol in the legend.

The formatting of the actual square cannot easily be formatted. It is SVG generated by HighCharts and would require the injection of CSS such as:

g.highcharts-legend-item.highcharts-column-series rect {
stroke: black;
stroke-width: 0.5;
}
