Empty Cell In Excel Export if Value Is Longer TextField Width

Issue Description

Customer has a report in which blank value is coming for a Text Field element for which the value is longer than the element width.

Resolution

The issue occurs because all elements in the group header have position type “Fix Relative To Top”, so when an element overflows beyond its initial height it will overlap the element below, and so on.

Unlike PDF exporter, grid exporters don’t display overlapping elements.

In such cases we need to set position type as “Float”

Solution tested with TIBCO JasperReports^® Server v.7.2.0 , 7.5
