After exporting a report template to my project folder (or anywhere on the drive where I can use it really), attempt to re-open the file using the open command give a meaningless "Could not open the editor: Linked resources are not supported by this application" error. It appears that the only way to edit my report templates after I have saved them out of JasperSoft Studio is to use the older, discontinued iReport software. I have attached a sample .jrxml file that I can not open, in case it is only specific files that cause the issue.

It appears there is an option I can turn on to enable studio to open files again. That said, it is purely idiotic that you have to find and enable an option just to do something as basic as open a file, so this is still a bug - just not as severe as I was originally thinking.
