When entering parameter values, the (Win32?) date/time GUI control is very bad.
Assuming the locale is set to DD/MM/YYYY, if the date parameter has a previous value set to 28/02/2014, you can't just enter 31/03/2014.
It thinks you're gonna to put 31/02 and rejects what you're entering.

can you detail on where you are using the control? Are you talking about the Preview panel, input controls section?
I think we are using some Nebula provided widget. I should give a look at it.

Any news on that? Can you then see with Nebula what they can do to make the control more usable for users countries with DD/MM/YYYY pattern?

While waiting for a possible reply we are investigating on possible modifications to the original CDateTime widget. If this is not a viable solution we will probably consider in creating a custom one.

It's even worse than my original report, because, if current month is a 30-day month and the field is blank, you cannot start entering 31 because it automatically sent the month to the current month, so you have to enter another day, edit the month and came back to adjust the day to 31.
By the way, and off topic for this ticket, I know, each time we enter in the design and open the preview again, all parameters get they default or blank values. Is there a way to avoid that, i.e., maintain the previously entered values?
