[#14311] - text field (print when) expression pop up can't be opened

When trying to edit the expression of a text field, the editor can't be opened. When editing it via properties -> advanced -> expression the content, which is already set, gets deleted and nothing new can be set.

Suppose this is the error:

Hi it would help to have a test JRXML with which we can reproduce the error.
Unfortunately with a simple report I could not.

Please provide one. Thanks in advance.
