When using Arial Narrow on Design the text smudges like all characters seems to render on same place. On 100% zoom it happens only if bold / italic is used, on any other percent percent happens even on normal text.
Also happens in java Preview. Seems to work fine on pdf / word export.

Can you please attach a screencast of the issue?
And even trying to detail a bit more on the system. For example: 1) if it was working on previous versions 2) if you installed software that might have screwed up with fonts 3) if a similar issue happens with other fonts etc.

I tried to reproduce locally on my Mac machine and a Windows 10 VM but I was not able to.

This bug seems similar to the following one: https://community.jaspersoft.com/jaspersoft-studio/issues/13741
Unfortunately as you can see also from the my different comments and videos linked I was not able to reproduce.

Regards,
Massimo.

I have the same problem.

I'm using Linux Mint 20.3, Jasper Studio 6.19.1

The problem seems to be related with Arial font.

The behavior is as follows:
When I open the .jrxml file all the text is normal.
The problem occurs when zooming the document.

Sometimes there's also problems with the previewer (But when creating a PDF from the previewer the text seems to be normal).

Closing the following bug as duplicate of the "[#13741] - Bugged Text on Zoom".
Please give a look at my additional detailed comment #11 (https://community.jaspersoft.com/jaspersoft-studio/issues/13741#comment-...)
Give a proper look also at the old comment #7 in the same bug (https://community.jaspersoft.com/jaspersoft-studio/issues/13741#comment-...).

Best regards,
Massimo.
