User upgraded Jaspersoft Studio to version 6.9.0. After upgrade, when they try to deploy a report to the server, they get this exception:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/jaspersoft/studio/server/protocol/restv2/ClientQueryMapperProvider
at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.protocol.restv2.RestV2ConnectionJersey.connect(RestV2ConnectionJersey.java:174)

I also upgraded to Jaspersoft Studio 6.9.0 and I do not get this error.
User cannot deploy reports to server until this issue is resolved.

I am having the same issue just trying to create and test a new connection. When I open my older copy of Jaspersoft Studio it connects via REST just fine.
I am also seeing the same behaviour. I have made a new installation of JasperReports Server and Jaspersoft Studio 6.9.0. When I try to connect to JasperReports Server from Jaspersoft Studio I am seeing the same error message.
I am also having this problem. The version is 6.9.0.
I have same issue and same error.
I have same issue and same error.
Same issue for me as well
i had to downgrade to 6.6 and it worked.
Hi,
the problem is that the Hibernate plug-in is "broken" and it is indirectly causing some issues in the classloading operations.
We fixed the problem in the master branch. A new release is coming soon. In the meanwhile you could try to "remove" the com.jaspersoft.studio.hibernate plugin from the plugins folder. It's a workaround but it should work.
Regards,
Massimo.
Hi,
exactly.. worked after move the plugin to outside of plugins folder.
But the link of download don't have that correction.
Please add the correction in master branch.
The problematic plugin: com.jaspersoft.studio.hibernate_5.4.1.final.jar
Thanks!
I have the same error on JasperSoft Studio 6.10. Any news about a fix for this?
Confirmed, the same error on JasperSoft Studio 6.10.
[CLEANING UP THE TRACKER]
I was not able to reproduce the error above with the most recent version (6.18.1).
In case you are using JSS plugin and you are facing some kind of errors/problems while interacting with JRS, please give a look at the following wiki article: https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/solving-jaspersoft-studio-plug-iss...
