mandatory fields not working in jasper server.
I have created input control with date format. i have added in report it appeared in report when i clicked run.
when im clicking apply its not checking mandatory directly displaying result without checking mandatory.

I have the same issue in version 6.2.1.
When you set a defaultValueExpression for the associated parameter, the input control is not mandatory anymore. But you have to set a defaultValueExpression for String parameters, because otherwise you get the default value [null] in the input control.
