I need to schedule reports for users such that certain report content resources are only available to certain users. I do not want to run the reports multiple times for different users and have them placed in folders for that user (It would be too resource-intensive to run the report for each user).
I've scheduled reports to run nightly and place the resulting content resource in a folder. Each content resource has the name of the report with the date appended to the end.
I would like to prevent certain users from viewing certain content resources in the folder. I'm struggling with the permissions because if I don't give the user permissions for the folder he cannot see the folder. If I allow the user read-only permissions on the folder, he is able to see all the folder contents.
Is there a way to assign the report permissions to the resulting content resource during schedule creation?
