Our Jasper Server Tomcat log size is getting enormous. It's containing huge number of "virt" files.. Is not it supposed to be deleted automatically.??
The server performance is getting affected hugely and also the server crashes severel times in a day if we do not delete these files manually.
Please suggest.

We were posting a request for approx 3000+ reports and started seeing files created after report #300. We then changed to a batch process of requesting 250 reports at a time then combining the separate reports to one when they were all retrieved. Not sure what causes the temp files to be generated. They seem to be created and auto-deleted randomly. Any insight to the logic behind the files in this directory?
