[#2845] - Mandatory Fields are not working

I am using jasper server 4.7
the bug is when end user runs the report, the Mandatory fields are not enforcing to fill the mandatory fields
its not raising any error when though the user leaves the mandatory fields blank.
Please help us as soon as possible.

We have the same problem.
I am amazed this problem is present and even more amazed this bug report on the subject seems to be ignored.

I would expect a work around and a solution date for this issue as soon as possible.
