We understand that horizontal stretch can mess with formatting sometimes, but the fact is often times we're not worried about the width of the report. If we could simply toggle between vertical stretch and horizontal stretch it would be amazing. As it is right now we're severely limited in what we want to do.

Hi there,
I have a quite similar problem. I have a Crosstable and I want to stretch horizontal, so I can position another small table right next to it.
I tried a lot of things, but the only way I can have the table stretch horizontal is to "Ignore width". This, on the other hand, does not respect other objects I am placing on the same horizontal level. The cross table has between 1-8 Columns, depending on when something was purchased.
