Hello.
I have a report that we're using to create an Excel document. This report will eventually have 25 sub-reports in it and we're expecting the size of the finished file to be around 25-50MB. The report was working great with the first sub-report added, however after adding the second sub-report, I'm getting a java heap error message. I found where to increase the size for this in the ireport.conf file, but when trying to up the size to 2048, iReport won't even open?
I'm using iReport 3.7.6, Windows 7 box, that has 8GB of Ram. Does anyone have any suggestions on why the app won't even open?
Here's my new line in the iReport.conf file with part I modified bolded:
default_options="--branding ireport -J-Xms256m -J-Xmx2048m -J-Dorg.netbeans.ProxyClassLoader.level=1000"
Please help!! This is an important report that we need.
