Hi,

BorderOffset.threadInstance causes memory leak when the JasperReports are user in WAR, which is hot redeployed (JBoss, Tomcat).

A fix is attached.

Hello,
a fix would be highly appreciated. We run in trouble after several (hot) redeployments.
Jasper is only one permgen-oom candidate but seems to be the final one that we cannot get rid of.

A resolution would be appreciated. Memory leaks cause unnecessary alerts when restarting but furthermore they cause/contribute to OutOfMemory situations which in some cases freeze applications.

Hi,

This particular issue related to border offset has beend fixed in JR 5.5.1:

If you are using a later version and still have memory issues, please log separate tracker as the cause is for sure different than the one detailed here.
